The Discipline
Nearly a decade.One discipline:build what holds.
Whether the medium is a Java microservice, a VLAN architecture, or an AI training pipeline — the approach is the same. Define the boundaries. Secure the contracts. Deliver systems that work a year after you hand them off.
The Method
I think insystems first, then in code.
Every engagement starts with a blueprint. Service boundaries, data contracts, integration points, failure modes. The architecture is the product. The code is its expression. I've led technical definitions across Claims Operations, institutional platforms, academic ecosystems, and AI pipelines — each one a systems problem before it was a software problem.
The Work
From insurance operations to academic networks. From AI pipelines to education platforms.
The projects change. The discipline doesn't. Each engagement is a systems problem with real operational constraints — departments that need to interoperate, platforms that can't go down, integrations that need to hold under production load.
