Overview
Digital products ecosystem oriented toward education and professional services. I led the full systems architecture — from conceptualization and product vision through technical blueprints, API contracts, and external team coordination. Multiple concurrent product streams, single coherent architecture.
The challenge was translating a business vision with multiple moving initiatives into a technical foundation that could scale each product independently while maintaining shared infrastructure, identity, and data contracts.
What I built
- —Led the conceptualization and technical definition of digital products combining business vision, architecture, and user-centered design.
- —Designed architectures, technical blueprints, data models, and integration flows across multiple initiatives from a single architectural foundation.
- —Built API contracts and microservice boundaries — user management, content delivery, payment integrations, and a unified API gateway.
- —Coordinated with external development teams: defined engineering guidelines, API structures, and early validation criteria to maintain architecture coherence across concurrent streams.
- —Established technical documentation standards and architecture review cadence across teams.
Architecture decisions
Opted for a microservice model with strict service boundaries to allow independent deployment cycles across product lines. API-first design: contracts were defined before implementation, enabling parallel frontend and backend development. Data models versioned from day one using explicit migration contracts.
